2019 BBB Award for Excellence Winner

We are proud and honored to have been awarded (for the 4th year in a row), the Houston Better Business Bureau’s 2019 Award of Excellence.

The mission of the BBB is to promote trusted marketplace and celebrate best practices. The BBB Awards for Excellence recognizes businesses, organizations, and employees that are positive examples to all in areas that mirror the core values of the BBB and demonstrate the highest standards of business ethics and practices. These organizations are recognized for fostering trust with their customers, employees, suppliers, and community.

BEB Awarded BBB Winner of Distinction

Houston – We are so proud to announce that Business Extension Bureau is this year’s recipient of the Houston Better Business Bureau’s Awards for Excellence.

Today we were presented with a Winner of Distinction statue as recognition of our company’s commitment to quality in the workplace and superior service to the community and businesses served. Less than .2% of companies in the Houston area are honored with this prestigious award!

Judges base their decision on 10 factors surrounding each business which include changes within an industry and how the company has adapted to those changes, how the organization stays on top of the latest processes, technology and trends, and how the business has contributed to the betterment of their industry.

Competition was fierce and over 1,000 people were in attendance of the sold out, main event held on May 13, 215 at the Bayou City Event Center. We are honored to have received such a prestigious award!

2015 Awards Season

This time of year is always hectic for us. We are involved with several industry organizations and January is the start of the awards competition season for many.

The competitions are a great way to support our local and national associations and gives us a chance to see the latest trends within the industry.

Today we submitted two pieces into the Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast (PIGC) Graphic Excellence Awards. One entry is a direct mail piece we created for a local nonprofit to solicit enrollment in the ACA; the other is our BEB Interactive Calendar! Winners will be announced in March, so keep your fingers crossed for us!

We’ve also entered our interactive calendar into the 2015 AVA Digital Awards for our use of QR Codes. Winners will be announced on February 2nd and you can see our online submission by clicking here.

We’re also working on our essay questions for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Awards of Excellence competition. Entries are due by February 10th, and the entire company has submitted answers so we can submit an entry where everyone has contributed to the process!

Rounding out this year’s attempts will be the 2015 Hermes Awards and the coveted Houston AMA Crystal Awards. It’s a busy time in the Marketing Department at BEB!
