There’s a new push these days designed to bring young professionals and corporate executives to Houston, which many consider a good place to work but a not-so-great place to live.
The new image campaign, unveiled by the Greater Houston Partnership, will include TV spots that reflect Houston’s upbeat spirit, diversity of opportunity and fun atmosphere.
The website debut at Thecitywithnolimits is accompanied by the video below showing split-second images of the skyline, ballet dancers, the first moon landing, the galleria and smiling faces of Houstonians.
TV spots will run locally this year, and the campaign will go worldwide next year, says Bob Harvey, president and CEO of the Greater Houston Partnership.
First up on the city-wide campaign, Limitless Living at Discovery Green, September 6, 2014, where you can jam out to live music, show your team spirit, and peruse local goods from craft shops all over!
There’s a variety of food tents, arts and crafts, and face-painting, as well as prizes & giveaways for all. Families and friends are encouraged, and admission is free.
“When you’re in Houston, there are no limits to the fun you’ll find.”

HOUSTON August 21, 2014 — Business Extension Bureau of Texas Inc has been selected for the 2014 Houston Award in the Mailing Lists category by the Houston Award Program.
Each year, the Houston Award Program identifies companies that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Houston area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2014 Houston Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Houston Award Program and data provided by third parties.
The Houston Award Program is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Houston area. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.
The Houston Award Program was established to recognize the best of local businesses in our community. The organization works exclusively with local business owners, trade groups, professional associations and other business advertising and marketing groups.
We’ll be at the 2014 National Postal Customer Council (PCC) Day celebration hosted by the Houston Postal Service. We’ll join other PCC’s across the country to celebrate National Postal Customer Council Week and hear a special message from Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe. In addition, Jo Ann Feindt, USPS Area Vice President will also be speaking.
We’ll learn about what is new from the US Postal Service for 2015 including postal changes, facility closures and Full Service mailing. We are proud members of the Houston PCC and will be at the Houston Texans Grille to support our partners on September 9, 2014. Go to houstonpcc.com for details.
