The awards of merit go to BEB and BEBdata (our sister company) for our individual and interactive holiday cards!  The cards were well received and each contained a QR Code directing recipients to a YouTube holiday video!
BEBdata generated a 4.3% hit rate and BEB generated a 5.8% hit rate to each video.

In addition, we won a GEA for our newsletter, The Bureau!  The Bureau is created bi-monthly and is a multi-channel marketing vehicle designed to share the latest happenings with postal reform, industry trends, and case studies.  We also include a section called The Back Wall – Life Around BEB that displays photos of staff to lend a personal touch to our corporate image.
All three award-winning pieces were printed on a Konica Minolta digital press and are interactive using cross-channel marketing for interactive communication and tracking.
We are honored to receive these prestigious awards and we can’t wait for the big ceremony at the Plaza Ballroom in the Doubletree Greenway on April 17, Houston TX.
THANK YOU!

PICG WIP Luncheon

2013-03-05 PIGC WIP LUNCHEON KIRSITN AND ANGEL

Kristin Howel (DP|IT) and Angel Wiener (Client Services)

Some of the ladies of Business Extension Bureau attended the much anticipated Women In Print luncheon held by the Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast (PICG).  The year’s event was held at the Tasting Room and our key-note speaker was Gina Testa of Xerox.  Gina discussed the future of print which includes personalized packaging, mobile interaction, and Gamification, (the use of game-thinking and mechanics in a non-game context in order to engage users and solve problems).   She went on to say that technology is a “great equalizer” and print is no longer an art.  It’s a science.  She is a fascinating speaker and we learned a lot!

It was a packed house today as Patty Eldridge of the PICG reviewed the upcoming Graphic Excellence Awards, shared pamphlets on how Print Is Green and outlined other educational and networking events sponsored by the PICG.  BEB is committed to the continuing education of our staff to keep our clients (both existing and future) abreast of the latest solutions and technology available.

Football In Paris?!

WYAFA SPONSORBEB-Business Extension Bureau is proud to announce our sponsorship for this year’s team of the World Youth American Football Association.  Founded in 2010, WYAFA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the principles of excellence and teamwork in youth athletics as exemplified by the late, great coach Vince Lombardi.
Our home team (known as the Texans!) will fly to Paris, France to compete with three teams from Europe!  The championship event represents not only an outstanding training and competitive experience on an international level, but an incredible cultural exchange for the team as well!  Wish our Texans “good luck” on their road to the Championship!

ROI = $20K

2012 The BurueaToday we finished our ROI analysis of our publication called The Bureau.  The Bureau was launched in September of 2012 and serves as a center point for information on direct marketing and the happenings within our 64-year old company.
Our maiden issue asked and answered the question; “What IS multi-channel marketing?'”  Other issues announced upgrades and expansion going on within our plant, introduced readers to our YouTube page, outlined FSM (Folded Self-Mailer_ regulation changes in a simple fashion, educated on Augmented Reality (AR) and shares some case studies from our marketing campaigns.  Two of our newsletters included rate-cards for easy reference of the new postal rates that took effect in January and all included an interactive element connecting us to our client and enabling us to track results.
We were able to directly connect an additional $20K in new business to our newsletter through the articles covering our existing or new services, inquiries pertaining to specific topics included in the publication or the acquisition of new clients by incorporating prospects into our Bureau marketing plan.
Direct mail is (still) mighty and is a powerhouse to drive business online.
